Admissions

Chester College of New England offers a number of need-based scholarships to students who display outstanding creative and/or academic merit. These scholarships are awarded to a small, slect group of talented and accomplished students based on availability, and are renewable each academic year. Awards are based on academic performance, strength of character, financial need, and the depth and creativity displayed in the portfolio.

Students wishing to be considered for one of the Chester College of New England Institutional Scholarships should submit a portfolio of original work to the Admissions Committee with the application for Admission. Please be sure to review our Portfolio Guidelines.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Chester College of New England Scholarship -$500-$5,000 per academic year
Merit-Based Scholarships are given to those students who apply for full-time enrollment at Chester College of New England.  The Chester College of New England Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic and/or creative potential.

Need-Based Scholarships

Need-based scholarships are offered to those students who apply for full-time enrollment at Chester College of New England.  The need-based scholarship is determined by the Director of Financial Aid.
You must complete the FAFSA form before March 15th of each calendar year to qualify for need-based scholarships.

Impression 2009 Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded to six incoming freshman.  The scholarship is awarded their first year (dispersed over two semesters).  It is not renewable.  Please contact admissions@chestercollege.edu for more information.

2nd Place Writing Award - $1000 per year
3rd Place Writing Award - $500 per year
