Admissions

Chester College of New England welcomes students to experience our unique school as a part-time student. Part-time students may complete courses online or in a traditional classroom setting on our beautiful rural campus.

ONLINE COURSES

Online course offerings include liberal studies courses (only during the summer), and courses in creative writing. Both degree and non-degree seeking students are eligible to take courses.

ON CAMPUS COURSES

Students may register for traditional classroom courses as a part-time student (up to seven credits per semester) on a seat-available basis only, as preference is given to degree-seeking students. Part-time students are only allowed 16 credits. At the end of the 16th credit hour, students are eligible to apply for formal admission to continue to study at Chester College.
The part-time student registration procedure is simple and requires very little paperwork. Students should complete the Admission application Form with the Admissions Office.

COURSE COSTS:

• 3 credit traditional classroom course on campus $2112.17

ADDITIONAL COSTS:

• Additional expenses: includes the cost of books and Internet service and will vary depending on the class and where the student lives.
• Drop fee: There is a $25 administrative drop fee per class if the class is dropped between two weeks prior to the first class and the last day of the 1st week of class.

TUITION REFUNDS:

• Before or during the first week of class, 100 percent less administrative drop fee
• As of the first day of the second week of class, 50 percent
• As of the first day of the third week of class, no refund
