Submissions to COMPASS ROSE are read between August 1 and December 1 of each year. We will return, unread, submissions received

outside this period.

We are looking for a wide variety of styles, forms, and approaches, both traditional and experimental. We will consider poetry, fiction,

and creative nonfiction.

All submissions should be accompanied by a SASE. Please also include:

* your name

* mailing address

* email address

* phone number

Limit poetry submissions to five (5) poems and fiction/non-fiction pieces to 8,000 words. Simultaneous submissions are accepted;

previously published works are not. We do not return submitted work unless the SASE includes the proper amount of postage.
